The Timeline

Problem

IBM wanted to create a new experience for the visitors of its local HQ.

Solution

The experience design followed IBM’s Centennial messaging and imagery and also included original designs for the local flavour. We looked at IBM’s timeline of achievements and we doubled that with a timeline of local achievements. As such, meeting rooms were renamed after major Romanian mavericks, each room showcasing both their achievements as well as IBM’s achievements from the same period. The production used high quality solutions with a cost-effective approach. We used wallpaper, acrylic glass, backlit signs.

Desired outcome

An attractive environment for the meeting rooms that visualizes IBM’s achievements as well as associates IBM with leading local figures.
